Reverend Philip Penrod lives in Beaumont with his partner Tessa, their three children – Zephyra (12), Josiah (9), Solomon (7) and their Covid kittens, Percy and Dusty.
A graduate (M.Div) of Lutheran Theological Seminary at Saskatoon (2011), Philip very much benefited from spiritual formation and education under mentors and alongside colleagues in the Saskatoon Theological Union (Lutheran, Anglican and United Church seminaries). After graduation and ordination, Philip served 10 years as Pastor of Our Savior Lutheran on Callingwood Road in Edmonton. Philip’s interests include: TaeKwon Do, governance, community organizing, anti-racism, environmental stewardship, preaching craft, the Calgary Flames, and Pokemon Go.
