We invite youth in grade 7-12 to come hang out and have fun with other youth.
Youth from Sherwood Park have joined fun activities in the past such as board game nights, skating, cooking meals together, collaging, karaoke, campfires, bubble soccer, rock climbing, swing dance lessons, outdoor movie nights, corn maze trips, tie-dye, ping pong tournaments, snow tubing, bowling, homemade pizza making, and weekend retreats on Sylvan Lake.
Activities are planned a couple times per month throughout the year. These will be advertised through weekly e-news and also through our WhatsApp Group! Please contact us by email youth.coordinator@glorylutheran.ca to get group updates, share an idea for a youth event, explore how you can get involved or if you have questions.
Our hope is that through our offered activities the youth will come to know the importance of being part of a supportive, inclusive community. Youth engage in activities that build relationships, practice emerging leadership skills, explore their faith and encourage involvement in the community.
Our youth program has been fortunate to be the recipient of the County Clothes-Line Foundation grant. On behalf of the youth, parents, and supporters of our program we want to express immense gratitude for their generous financial support.
We are grateful for the shared youth ministry between Glory Lutheran and Mount Olivet and to all the amazing volunteers and supporters.
